Format: Individual stroke play with 100% of handicap using the Modified Stableford Scoring System.
This special event is open to both men and women passholders who have recorded a gross or net eagle in an LPN-sanctioned event.

LPN Talk Like a Pirate Open
Check-in: 11 a.m.
Cannon Ball Start: Noon
Entry Fee: $50 per LPN Passholder | $95 per NON LPN Passholder
(Includes Golf w/ Cart, Range Balls, Drink Tickets, and Prizes)
Format: Four-Pirate Scramble with a mix of cup sizes, including 2-inch, 8-inch, and regulation.
Gather your crew and get ready for one of the most entertaining events of the season. Flights will be awarded based on the number of entries, and players will have a chance to win a $1,000 hole-in-one prize on hole #16. Don your best pirate garb, bring your best crew, and sign up for a fun day on the course.

The Captain's Cup
Check-in: Noon
Shotgun Start: 1 p.m.
Entry Fee: $100 per LPN Passholder
(Includes Signature Hat, Dinner, and Prize Pool)
Format: Four-Person Dropout Scramble
This new event adds a fun draft-style twist to tournament play. “A” players will serve as team captains, with “B”, “C”, and “D” players drafted to complete each 4-person team. In the dropout scramble format, everyone hits a tee shot, the player whose tee shot is used sits out the rest of that hole, and the remaining three players finish the hole as a team.
Players age 60 and older will play from the gold tees, while all other players will play from the white tees. Handicap brackets will be based on the field, with “A” players representing the lowest 25%, “B” players the next 25%, “C” players the next 25%, and “D” players the final 25%.
Team Draft – Wednesday, September 23 at 7 p.m. at The Captain’s Pick. Players are encouraged to attend, if possible, especially “A” players, who will be responsible for making team selections.

LPN Member/Member
Lake Panorama National golf course passholders are invited to the annual LPN Member-Member tournament on Sunday, August 30. The event features two-person teams made up of LPN passholders. The format includes six holes of better ball, six holes of alternate shot, and six holes of best shot. Men’s and women’s divisions will be flighted based on the number of entries. Play begins with a noon shotgun start. The cost is $100 per team and includes food and prizes. Players also will have a chance to win a $1,000 hole-in-one prize on hole 16.
LPN passholders are asked to call the Pro Shop at (641) 755-2024 to sign up or ask questions.
Blues and BBQ @ Boulder Beach
Enjoy an evening of live music, barbecue, and good company at the Blues & BBQ fundraiser Saturday, August 29, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Boulder Beach on Lake Panorama. The event will feature live music by the Brick ‘n Bob Duo. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and their own beverage.
The menu will include barbecue prepared by local chefs, with pork, beef, and chicken options, along with several side dishes and desserts. Tickets are $40 per person and may be purchased at the Lake Panorama National administrative office on the lower level of the LPN clubhouse or by Venmo at @Panorama-Friends.
Proceeds will support the Lake Panorama National Golf Course capital fundraising campaign.
Panorama West Fore Fun Friday Couples
Mark your calendars for the final Fore Fun Friday Couples event at Panorama West on Friday, August 28. This two-couple scramble includes a lighthearted golf game, with play beginning at 5 p.m. and registration opening at 4:30 p.m. Please arrive early to review event details, receive hole assignments, and pay the $1 per couple entry fee, plus green fees for any non-passholders. Preregistration is not required. If you need a cart, call the Panorama West pro shop at (641) 755-2250. Entry fees will be returned as prize money when players gather on the deck after the round.

LPN Senior 2-Person Scramble
Now in its third year, the Lake Panorama National Senior 2-Person Scramble is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with an 11 a.m. shotgun start.
This 18-hole tournament is open to both men and women aged 60 and older. The entry fee is $70 per person for non-passholders and $35 per person for passholders. Your entry includes golf with a cart, range balls, and a chance to win prizes.

LPN Solheim Cup
The annual LPN Solheim Cup will be held August 14 & 15, with 2026 team captains Dawn Anderson and Sandy Lowe leading the event. Teams for Saturday’s competition and Friday evening’s shootout will be announced after women’s league play on Thursday, August 13. The Friday shootout begins at 5:30 p.m., and spectators are welcome. Dinner and Saturday team announcements will follow for all players.
Saturday’s two-person team competition begins with 9:30 a.m. tee times. Each player will be paired with a partner and compete against another two-person team. Each 18-hole match will feature three formats, with three points available per match.
A two-person shootout will follow Saturday golf, with pairings based on net scores from Thursday’s top league scores. Dinner, team prizes, and the announcement of the 2027 captains will follow.

Panorama West Fore Fun Friday Two-Couple Scramble
Play begins at 5 p.m., with registration starting at 4:30 p.m. Couples are encouraged to arrive early to review event details, receive hole assignments, and pay the $1 per couple entry fee. Non-passholders also will need to pay applicable green fees.

Format: Foursome – Two players against two other players and each team plays one ball. First 9 Holes are a two-man, best shot scramble. The Last 9 Holes are an alternate shot.

Participants Requirements
Be a passholder of the Lake Panorama National golf course and be 18 years old or older.
Have a current USGA handicap.
Have played AND posted scores for a minimum of ten, 18-hole rounds from July 1, 2025 through August 1, 2026.

Check, cash, or Venmo is due with registration by June 17, and is not refundable after July1. Make checks payable to 2026 Ryder Cup or Venmo @Barry-Monaghan-47. For Venmo put 2026 Ryder Cup and your name on the transaction.
