Cancelled - LPN Friday Couples (String Game)
The next Lake Panorama National Friday Couples’ event is set for Friday, August 23. Open to both passholders and non-passholders, this fun tournament is a great way to enjoy a summer evening on the course. The format is a four-person couples best shot, with a shotgun start at 5:30 p.m. Participants should check in at Spikes beforehand.
For an added twist, each team will be given a length of string to use strategically throughout the game. Teams can move their ball by hand to a more favorable spot anywhere on the course, including the putting green or even into the hole. The distance moved is measured against the string, and the corresponding length is then cut off. Once the string is used up, the team must continue without it.
The cost is $20 per couple. Non-passholders must also pay green fees at the LPN pro shop before checking in at Spikes. Early registration is encouraged to help the pro shop plan for this enjoyable event.
To register, please call the LPN pro shop at (641) 755-2024.
